bash & vim & screen as IDE

I come back again in the future in the programming, I have made myself in search of comfortable and powerful IDE's. So far, I've always worked on the console. After I forced several days now time to work with NetBeans, I'm back to my bash, my screen and vim returned. Some feature in Netbeans but I learned to appreciate and want to show how these can all be used in vim: The Exuberant CTags bring tagging capabilities for 34 languages. A simple " ctags-R tags", a call to "vim-t
tags
" vim can read the tags and opens, if available, a selected file as a day. Using a simple ": approx
" I can now quickly move between the desired positions, tab-completion is also integrated.
Folding has Vim7 problem: In the visual mode (v) mark the area, and with zf fold.

from the global / etc / vim / vimrc at least the following options should be incorporated into your own vimrc.
set showcmd " Show (partial) command in status line.
set showmatch " Show matching brackets.
set ignorecase " Do case insensitive matching
set smartcase " Do smart case matching

set incsearch " Incremental search
set autowrite " Automatically save before commands like :next and :make
set hidden " Hide buffers when they are abandoned
set mouse=a " Enable mouse usage (all modes)
syntax on
